Looking back its not hard to see how I ended up becoming a hairstylist. As a kid I remember picking up the scissors and deciding to give my teddy a new look. I quickly moved on to Barbies, then myself< then to trusting school friends. Iguess going to Jean Madeline for Cosmetology training was an inevitable decision after high school.
Sixteen years later my career has taken me from the Main Line, to the Midwest, to the UK and back. The years have provided lots of experience and education including many advanced cutting coarses and training in L’Oreal, Framesi, Alfa Parf, Wella, Redken, Aveda and Rusk, here in the U.S. and the U.K.
After being a part of the G Z W crew, since it opened in Conshohocken in 2002, when the opportunity arrived for ownership it was a no brainer. I’ve never worked in a salon with such an encouraging and talented staff. The atmosphere we’ve created for our clients is one of friendliness and comfort with a professional and experienced staff striving to do great work and to develop long term relationships.
I have to say I love my career choice. From brides to kids, simple styles to high fashion, perms to straighteners, colors to cuts, I love it all.
