I came to G Z W , now Sevan The Salon, by chance, before the doors were ever open for business in February 2002. I didn’t know the first thing about running a hair salon since my degree from Drexel is in corporate communications. That didn’t discourage Jay from trusting me. From painting baseboards to picking out the stereo system, I helped and watched Jay create the best salon I’ve ever been in.
The stylists and assistants Jay and I have found reflect a sense of oneness, and our clients are some of the nicest, most interesting and successful people I’ve met. It is an amazing experience to see people have their spirits lifted by a haircut, coloring, or new style.
I am so grateful to Jay, the staff, and the clients, for making this place what it is, and to Susan and her husband Evan for taking over in an effort to maintain the relaxed, happy, and friendly atmosphere of this salon
